• The reviews are in! Cobalt City Double Feature lives!

While you were sleeping, Cobalt City Double Feature slipped into the universe. The Kindle version appeared first on Amazon, as these things seem to do. And of course we have it here as well (as a bundle of Kindle/ePub/PDF) although the delivery is less elegant than we’d like–we email you the bundle, so if you order in the middle of the night, you’ll have to wait until we wake up, for instance. (But in exchange for a bit of patience, you get all three formats, DRM free, and you do more to support small presses.) We’ll even have Cobalt City Double Feature in the Barnes & Noble store for the Nook (same ePub format as the bundle) as soon as it clears their processing.

But other people have already read half of the book. While we were formatting “The Place Between,” we sent Erik Scott de Bie’s half, “Eye for an Eye” out to a few people to look at. Seems they liked it. In fact, one of our shared universe heroes, Ed Greenwood said:

“I have loved superhero comics since I was about four years old. I’ve read a lot of them, and still do, but it’s a rare treat to read superhero adventures that can grip me as an adult. And make me laugh. While the action keeps pounding along at top speed.

EYE FOR AN EYE is great. I want more!”

Coming from the bestselling author/Godfather of The Forgotten Realms® we couldn’t have hoped for more.

Superheroes have come a long way from the four-panel comic books. And authors like Minerva Zimmerman and Erik Scott de Bie are boldly showing the way of what is possible. Check out this brief excerpt from “The Place Between” if you still have reservations. We can guarantee you a vision of Thor and Loki unlike any you’ve seen before that brings passion, pathos, and humor to the tale of a young woman searching for her destiny. And combined with Erik’s tale of revenge, doubt, family, mid-life crisis, humor, and blood-pumping action, this is one double feature you can’t afford to miss.

Welcome to the summer of super, Timid Pirate style!
